3D – Visage

About Visage

The 3D – Visage is an Advanced Skin Analysing Machine.

It enables the user to see all the way to the basal layer of the epidermis, helping us to create a bespoke, detailed and accurate treatment plan for you.

The Visage is able to take images and analyse key skin concerns that inform both the client and therapist of underlying skin concerns to be addressed.

How Does Visage Work

Wrinkles

Using colour coding the 3D – Visage is able to identify true formed wrinkles that may take longer to reduce within the skin as well as areas of dehydration.

Red lines identify where there is formed wrinkle. These wrinkles need to be worked on at a deeper level.

Yellow lines are medium depth wrinkles, green lines show where the skin is more dehydrated.

Pores

Using a coloured traffic light system the 3D Visage is able to identify different sized pores. Red Shows larger more open pores,

Yellow shows medium sized pores and green shows smaller open pores.

Skin Texture

The roughness image shows the texture of a patients skin and how well they are exfoliating and turning their skin cells over. From this a therapist will be able to have an understanding of the skin and how it may respond to treatments.

The therapist may also decide to recommend an AHA or a retinol or some form of exfoliator into their clients skin care routine.

Sensitivity

This image shows where there is inflammation and sensitivity within the skin. By identifying where there is inflammation with the skin it enables a clinic to choose whether a particular treatment or product is suitable for a client. The darker red areas highlight where there is more inflammation and sensitivity.

Some sensitivity can’t be seen with the naked eye so this allows the therapist to have an understanding of what is going on within the deeper layers of the skin and enables them to advise treatments to reduce inflammation before starting to work on other concerns.

Hidden Pigmentation

This image will show pigmentation that is on the bottom layers of the epidermis. This is pigmentation that is not yet visible with the naked eye but has the potential to come to the surface.

This image with allow the patient to see dark areas of melanin that could be reduced with a good skin routine and clinic treatments. This can then be looked at and reviewed again and the client will be able to see the results of their skin routine and treatments.

Surface Pigmentation

This image identifies spots and pigmentation visible to the naked eye. The surface pigmentation image with highlight freckles, moles, melisma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and other spots visible on the skin.
